About Hypnotherapy - How Hypnotherapy works

Hypnotherapy works quite simply. Hypnotic techniques (ways of inducing deep relaxation) are used to lead the client's conscious mind into a nicely relaxed state so that the unconscious (or subconscious) mind can release deep seated negative emotions and replace them with much more positive states.

It is the therapist's role to simply facilitate the client's internal search for solutions or insights to their presenting problem. It is NOT the therapist's job to impose their own solutions on the client. However the therapist does lead the client into finding their own very positve resources from within and it is this process which leads to positive, lasting benefits for the client.
